Irvine Cricket Club is a family-orientated club, who play out of the Irvine Sports Club, Waterside, Irvine. The club welcome players of varying skills and experience, young and old, and field two teams in the Western District Cricket Union, in Divisions 1 and 4 respectively.
Training nights run from 6pm-9pm on a Tuesday and Thursday night from end April- mid August, with coaching being provided by ex-Scottish internationalist Drew Parsons.
Match days are generally a Saturday, with the odd Sunday fixture throw-in due to fixture congestion. Spectators are welcome to come and watch, with matches starting at 1pm prompt.
This season, our Overseas Amateur and Professional, are both from South Africa, and are Berto Basson, and Sammy-Joe Avontuur.
